Who are we?
Claudia (a.k.a. Mami)
Mami is originally from Colombia, calling Periera home. She came to the USA in 1999 and worked in the Amity program and going to school in the evening. In 2000, she met Wes and I think we know how that turned out. Now running her business from home, she has taken the one-on-one time with the kids teaching them to be bilingual. Great job mami.
Wes (a.k.a. Papi)
Papi was born and raised in Minnesota. He joined the Air Force right after high school and has been an aircraft mechanic ever since. He met Claudia through a friend at work in 2000 and after a whirlwind romance, he asked Claudia to marry him…and just two short unbearable weeks later, she said yes!

Mariana (a.k.a. Sweet pea)
She is our big one. Our gifted 14-year old soccer, tennis, & piano star. She conquers all she puts her mind to. She has read more books by the age of 14 than anyone in this house has read in a lifetime. She has a deep faith in the Lord and currently aspires to be a sister (as in a sister with Holy Orders commonly called a nun). We couldn’t be more proud of our little girl!
Santiago (a.k.a. Pickle)
He is our great 9-year old adventurer! With an indescribable energy and imagination to go with it. He looks forward to Wes’ retirement and the travels and adventures that we talk about doing. He is also a blossoming soccer star, violin prodigy and dreams of being an Astronaut & a Priest. He’s our man and again, we are so proud of our guy!
