Pool Day July 3, Nani’s point of view

Today was a pool filled day, hence the title.  I woke up and had a delicious breakfast consisting of some fruit salad, biscochos ( kind of like a buttery hard and round cookie  ), and some orange juice. Back to the Biscochos, I call them Cochinitos which translates into “ pigs.” It is very embarrassing when I’m trying to order these in a breakfast place using what I call them and the waitress has no idea what I’m even saying. Anyway, after stuffing ourselves Santi and I got busy packing our bags even though we are leaving on Friday. We jammed to Veggie Tales ( which has become one of our latest and greatest obsession )then we quickly headed over to the soccer court next door and played a bit of a scrimmage. Winner? We have no idea. We thought it was clear that it was time to freshen up in the pool because we were literally melting in the sun. We quickly jumped in and spent the maximum of 45 minutes giggling and beating each other up with the beach ball. There was a game that we invented where someone would stand on the edge of the pool and the other one would stand in front of him or her and throw the beach ball backwards so the person would have to jump and try to catch it. We did this until Santi accidentally hit me in the face when he threw the ball. We got out and took showers before heading to eat lunch. We went through the same routine of eating our meal and feeling like exploding afterwards. Lunch was amazing though. After, we put Andre down, Santi and I goofed around some more in our room waiting for him to get up. At last we heard him, and Papi brought him out. Immediately the whole family got ready to go into the pool and we had a blast for about an hour.  My favorite part was when I would go on Papi’s shoulders and he would launch me into the air. Soon, everyone was exhausted then Santi had to go to Dr. Papi to have a sliver removed from Santi’s big toe.  Don’t worry, he’s fine. The operation was successful.  We got hungry and ate leftovers from lunch with some toast and Arequipe. DELICIOUS! Right now we are watching Desafio. It is a TV show where different teams face each other off in different challenges. Currently, I am at 4 percent battery so I am going to shut down. Goodnight and God bless.
